How fast can you get here?
On no-cooling emergencies during business hours we are frequently at the door within the hour, and same-day in nearly all cases. Book online or call and you get a real window, not a vague all-day one.
Do you charge for the diagnostic?
There is a diagnostic fee on repair calls, quoted to you on the phone before we come out. New system estimates are free, and the diagnostic is credited toward the repair if you go ahead with it.
How do you charge for refrigerant?
By the pound, at a rate we tell you before we start, with no separate service charge stacked on top. You will see the gauge readings as we go.
Should I repair or replace?
Rough guide: under eight years old, repair almost always wins. Past twelve to fifteen years, with a failed compressor or an R-22 system, replacement usually pays back through the electric bill. We show you the numbers for your specific unit rather than pushing one answer.
Which brands do you install?
Goodman, Carrier and Trane, chosen to fit the budget and the load. We service and repair every major brand regardless of who installed it.
Do you work with home warranty companies?
We work directly with homeowners. If your claim is going through a home warranty, that company assigns their own contractor — tell us up front so we do not waste your time, and we can still give you an independent second opinion on their diagnosis.
Why does my drain pan keep filling up?
Houston humidity means the evaporator coil pulls gallons of water a day. Algae and dust clog the condensate line, the float switch trips, and the system shuts off. It is a routine flush, and it is part of every maintenance visit.
